2021-22 // JUNIOR SEASON

Named to the All-Horizon League Second Team after finishing the year with a team-best 23-16 singles record…spent the majority of the spring season playing No. 2 and No. 3 singles, notching a 6-2 mark against league opponents…had a stretch of seven straight wins late in the spring season…finished the year with a 12-12 doubles record…picked up Horizon League Doubles Team of the Week honors with Clark Bilinovich after notching a win at No. 1 doubles against Buffalo…opened the year by going 4-0 at the Bobby Bayliss Invite, earning a spot on the All-Tournament team…earned a spot in the Main Singles Draw at the ITA Midwest Regional.

2020-21 // SOPHOMORE SEASON

Saw limited action during the adjusted campaign due to injury, finishing with a 4-4 singles record and a 9-3 doubles record…notched the clinching point with a 6-4, 6-0 decision at No. 6 singles against IUPUI in the Horizon League Semifinals…posted a perfect 7-0 doubles record on the season with Clark Bilinovich at the No. 3 spot, including a 5-0 record against league opponents…the duo earned a 6-3 win against Kentucky in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, helping the Vikings claim the doubles point against the nationally ranked Wildcats.

2019-20 // FRESHMAN SEASON

Joined the Vikings in January for the spring season…posted his first collegiate singles win in a 6-2, 6-1 decision against Andrew Teixeira of St. Francis…also picked up wins against Xavier, Valparaiso and St. Bonaventure…part of Cleveland State’s best doubles team during the spring campaign, finishing with an 8-2 record with Matthew Terry…picked up a league-best four Horizon League Doubles Team of the Week honors with Terry. 

PRIOR TO CLEVELAND STATE
Ranked in the top-five among South African players in his age group throughout his junior career, including a career-high ITF ranking of 719…picked up a pair of top-150 ITF wins and three top-300 ITF wins…finished third at the U18 Nationals in 2018 and fourth at the U18 Nationals in 2019…voted the Players Player in his province for two straight years…nominated for the Zulu Natal Sportsman of the Year.
