CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State men's tennis team will continue its fall season this weekend, hosting the sixth annual Viking Invitational. Action at the Viking Invitational will begin on Friday, October 28 and run through Sunday, October 30 in the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion on the Cleveland State Campus.

2022 Viking Invitational
This year's Viking Invitational will be a single-flight tournament, with a 48-player singles draw and a 24-team doubles draw. There will also be backdraw rounds for both singles and doubles.
The Field
Cleveland State will welcome six teams to the MMTP for the Viking Invitational this weekend, as Binghamton, Buffalo, Holy Cross (Ind.), IUPUI, Niagara, and Youngstown State will compete in the three-day tournament.

The Vikings competed at the ITA Midwest Regional, with the duo of Raul Teichmann and Kade Mindry advancing to the second round of the Main Doubles Draw, and the duo of Maxime Mareschal-Hay and Mikael Erler advanced to the second round of the Main Singles Draw.
2022 Fall Campaign
This will mark the fifth of six tournaments during the fall season for the Vikings, with Cleveland State also slated to host the Green & White Invitational next weekend (Saturday, November 5 & Sunday, November 6).
