2022-23 | JUNIOR SEASON
Appeared sparingly in the singles lineup, finishing with 10 wins on the year…earned a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Youngstown State in his lone matchup in Horizon League regular season play…teamed with Carl Gedlitschka to post a 15-9 doubles record, including a team-best 5-1 mark against league opponents during regular season play.

2021-22 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Finished with an 18-18 singles record on the year, including a 5-3 mark against Horizon League opponents…spent the majority of the spring season playing in the bottom half of the lineup…posted a stretch of six straight wins late in the dual match season, including league victories against IUPUI, UIC and Northern Kentucky…picked up Horizon League Doubles Team of the Week honors with Hugo Chatras after notching a win at No. 2 doubles against Toledo.

2020-21 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Played primarily in the singles lineup during the adjusted campaign, finishing with a 7-9 record…posted the clinching point with a 6-3, 7-5 decision at No. 6 singles against Northern Kentucky in the Horizon League Championship…picked up regular season singles wins against UIC, Youngstown State, Northern Kentucky, and IUPUI…notched his first collegiate singles win with a 6-3, 6-2 decision at the No. 6 spot against St. Bonaventure. 

PRIOR TO CLEVELAND STATE
Joins the Vikings after posting top-five junior rankings in the state of Texas and top-90 junior rankings nationally…active USTA Sectional and National competitor…captured the Excellence TX Tournament singles title and was a doubles finalist…part of the U18 Junior Tennis National championship team.

Born February 27, 2001 in Laredo, Texas…son of Jorge and Cecy Abboud…part of the National Society of High School Scholars…two-time Student of the Year…plans on majoring in biology/pre-med.
