WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Cleveland State men's tennis team opened its final tournament of the fall season Friday, picking up six doubles wins and five singles victories.

The Cleveland State duos of Devin Boyer/Lincoln Battle and JuandeDios Abboud/Carl Gedlitschka both went 2-0 on the day, Boyer and Battle earning wins against Bluefield State College and Davidson, and Abboud and Gedlitschka picking up wins against Richmond and Charlotte.

In addition, Mikael Erler/Nico Jamison and Austin Staiger/Cole Chappell also picked up doubles wins.

In singles action, Erler, Chappell, Abboud, Andrew Zimcosky, and Alan Matyjas all picked up victories in their respective draws.

Play at the Wake Forest Invite will continue tomorrow, with doubles play beginning at 9:30 a.m.
