Cleveland State Men’s Tennis Set To Close Out Fall Season At Wake Forest Invite

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State men's tennis team will return to action in their final tournament of the fall season this weekend, participating in the Wake Forest Invitational. The three-day tournament will run Friday, November 3 through Sunday, November 5 in Winston-Salem, N.C.  

The tournament will consist of a compass draw for both singles and doubles, with action beginning at 9:00 a.m. each day.  

Cleveland State will be one of 23 teams competing, including Horizon League opponent Tennessee Tech.  

This weekend's tournament will mark the fifth and final tournament of the fall campaign, as the Vikings also competed at the YSU Invite, ITA All-American Championships, ITA Midwest Regionals, and Viking Invite this season. 

Last time out, Mikael Erler advanced to the semifinals of the Main Singles Draw at the Viking Invite, while Carl Gedlitschka and JuandeDios Abboud advanced to the semifinals of the Main Doubles Draw.
