2021-22 – JUNIOR SEASON
Placed fourth at 184-pounds at the MAC Championships after falling in overtime…Seeded third entering the championship…Posted a 17-6 overall record including an 11-2 mark in duals…Went 6-1 in MAC matches…Had two major decisions and one technical fall...Earned MAC All-Academic honors for a second straight year.

2020-21 – SOPHOMORE SEASON
Wrestled at 184 pounds at the NCAA Championship…Competed as the No. 26 seed at the championship…Appeared in the NCAA Coaches Rankings for the first time in his career at No. 33 on Feb. 12…Finished the year with a 9-5 overall record…All his victories came by decision...Named to the Mid-American Conference All-Academic Team.

2019-20 - FRESHMAN SEASON
Placed seventh at Mid-American Conference Championships in rookie season at 184 pounds (3/8) … Had been unseeded entering the event … Was the highest placing freshman at his weight … Competed unattached at 174 pounds for the first month before moving up a weight and becoming the team’s starter at 184 … Finished season with a 21-19 overall mark across two weight classes … Went 12-13 at 184 pounds, including a 5-8 mark in duals … Won four MAC duals in rookie campaign … Placed third at Cleveland State Open after beating two Big XII foes (12/14) … Beat two seeded foes at MAC Tournament … His two losses at MAC Championships were: in overtime to top seed and by one point in consolation round … Tallied first career dual win with a major decision vs. George Mason (12/20) … Lost a tightly contested, 6-5, dual bout to Michigan State’s Cameron Caffey, a top-10 national opponent (2/16) … Had gone 9-6 while competing unattached, all at 174 pounds, in a trio of tournaments … Did not lose via fall or technical fall all season.

Pre-CSU
Won an Ohio state title at 182 pounds this past season … Completed his senior campaign with an unblemished 48-0 mark … Was a three-time state qualifier and two-time state placer … Finished fourth at 195 pounds as a junior … Won at least 40 matches in each of his final three seasons… Won Troy district and Lima Central Catholic sectional titles in each of his final two years.
