2021 (Spring) – SOPHOMORE SEASON
Appeared, and started, in all 10 games for the Vikings during the spring season…tallied 12 points (second-most on the team), four goals (tied for second-most on the team) and a team-high four assists…recorded a team-high 29 shots, including 15 shots on goal…scored her first goal of the season in a 2-1 win over Wright State on Feb. 10…had a career day in a 3-2 win over Oakland on Feb. 17, factoring in on all three Viking goals with a marker of her own to go with a pair of assists…named #HLWSOC Offensive Player of the Week on Feb. 19…had a program-record-tying nine-shot effort against Purdue Fort Wayne on Feb. 25…from Feb. 10 to March 10 scored four times and distributed three assists…named to the All-Horizon League First Team, joining fellow Viking Elena Gutlove…academically, was a member of the Cleveland State President’s List during the fall semester.
PRE-CLEVELAND STATE:
Saw action in all 21 games for the Ohio University Bobcats during the 2019 campaign, making seven starts...notched five goals (tied for second-most on the team) and recorded four assists (fourth-best on the team), tallying 14 points (third-most on the team)...named to the MAC All-Freshman Team, Young scored her first career goal on August 30 against the Vikings and scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win at Northern Illinois on September 27.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Three-year letter winner at Saint Ursula Academy...named to First Team GGCL, First Team All-Star and First Team All-City in 2016 and Second Team GGCL and Second Team All-City in 2017 and 2018...during the 2016 season, Young lead the GGCL in goals scored.
