Cleveland State Women’s Basketball Announces Additions To 2024-25 Roster

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State women's basketball head coach Chris Kielsmeier has announced two additions to the 2024-25 recruiting class, as Macey Fegan (Bentley, Mich.) and Mya Moore (Milwaukee, Wis.) will join the Vikings for the upcoming season.

Fegan will join the Vikings with three years of eligibility remaining, while Moore will have two years of eligibility at Cleveland State.

MACEY FEGAN | FORWARD | BENTLEY, MICHIGAN
Fegan comes to Cleveland State after spending her freshman season at Toledo, where she played limited minutes off the bench, helping the Rockets to a 28-6 record on the year, including an appearance in the quarterfinals of the inaugural WBIT.

During her high school career, Fegan was a four-time all-conference honoree, three-time all-state selection and a 2022-23 Michigan Miss Basketball finalist. As a senior, she averaged nearly 30.0 points, 14.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game, and graduated as the all-time scoring leader at Standish-Sterling High School.

Kielsmeier on Fegan: "Macey is a substantial addition to our program for the immediate future, but also a key piece for years to come. She is an incredible person off the court and will fit right in with our culture, while her athleticism and versatility make her a perfect fit for our system on the court. Her ability to score the basketball at all three levels and the energy she brings defensively will have a direct impact on our success next season."

MYA MOORE | FORWARD | MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN
Moore joins the Vikings after spending the last two seasons at Seattle, where she played in all 59 games during the two years, including appearing in the starting lineup during 54 of those contests.

As a sophomore this season, Moore averaged 12.7 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals, while also combining for 42 assists and 41 blocked shots. During her first two seasons of collegiate play, Moore has posted a .483 clip from the field, including shooting 47-percent this year (137-for-287).

During her prep career, Moore earned all-conference and all-state honors, helping Pius XI to three straight regional championships and a sectional title.

Kielsmeier on Moore: "We are incredibly excited to have Mya as a member of our Viking Family. She brings a special dimension to the post position for us, and she will no doubt impact the game on both ends of the floor. She brings another offensive threat to our lineup, while also being an incredibly strong defender that will fit into our system. In addition, she is a great person off the court, and will easily fit into our team culture and be a great example of Cleveland State women's basketball."

This duo will join incoming freshmen Brenae Jones-Grant and Sarah Hurley who signed back in November
