DEKALB, Ill.- The Cleveland State Wrestling team fell to Northern Illinois on Thursday night 25-6.
The Vikings (1-3) had wins from Mike Carlone (141) and Nick Corba (174). The two grapplers picked up decision victories over their opponent. Carlone defeated Tyler Argue 6-5, tallying his fifth decision win. Corba defeated Billy Chancey 3-1. Corba has now posted six decision victories. With those wins, Carlone is 8-4 on the year and Corba is 9-3 on the season.
The Vikings will return home, as the team will wrestle in the CSU Open on Saturday (Dec. 14). Wrestling will begin at 9:00 a.m.
