2011-12 - REDSHIRT SEASON
Won 15 matches while competing on the open circuit...Earned first win of the season on a 2-0 decision at the Eastern Michigan Open (Nov. 5)...Picked up a 3-2 decision over his opponent from Central Michigan at the Nittany Lion Open (Dec. 4)...Went 3-1 at the Cleveland State Open (Dec. 18), including his first pin of the season...Finished 3-3 at the Ashland Storm Open (Jan. 7) with one win coming on a pin and the other two coming in major decisions...Went 5-1 at the Simonson Open (Jan. 28), including a pin and a major decision...Earned two major decision victories at the National Collegiate Open (Feb. 26).

Started his career at Division III Roger Williams University...ended the season with a 13-8 record... placed second at 165 pounds at the New England Wrestling Association Championships...posted 30 takedowns and 25 escapes to go along with six reversals...earned Pilgrim League `Rookie of the Week' honors Nov. 16...placed among top six at Ithaca College Invitational and Doug Parker Invitational Tournament...took second at RWU Invitational.
