Redshirted last season

HIGH SCHOOL
Named a National High School Coaches Association Freshman All-American in 2008 after placing fourth nationally at 171 pounds... took fifth as a senior at the 2011 New York State Public High School Athletic Association meet to help Mexico score 12 points...qualified for the New York state tournament on two other occasions.....twice qualified for the Empire State Games.

Born December 12, 1992 in Mexico, New York...son of Bill and Michelle Benjamin...has a sister, Ashley...academic athlete all four years of high school while earning a 3.9 GPA...named to the honor roll all four years...while in high school, enrolled in classes at Oswego State University that helped him earn 12 credits before stepping foot on the CSU campus....volunteers within the community in his hometown, assisting as a coach for youth football and wrestling teams...intends to major in business administration.
