Last Time Out…

The Vikings picked up the doubles point in both matches, while Matthew Terry, Luke Phillips, Maxime Mareschal-Hay, and Clark Bilinovich all went 2-0 in singles play against the Penguins.

Vikings Extend Winstreak
With the two wins against Youngstown State last weekend, the Vikings extended their current win streak to nine straight matches, marking the fifth time under head coach Brian Etzkin that they have posted a win streak of nine matches or more. Entering this weekend's series against Northern Kentucky, the Vikings have won 12 of their last 13 matches, including a perfect 3-0 start to the month of April.

2021 Horizon League Schedule
This year's Horizon League schedule has had a different look to it, as the Vikings are facing the same opponent in back-to-back matches each week. Cleveland State's final home #HLTennis series will be against Northern Kentucky this weekend, while the Vikings will close out the regular season at IUPUI next weekend.

…Vikings In Horizon League Play
After posting back-to-back wins against YSU last weekend, the Vikings now own a 16-1 record during regular season league play over the last three complete seasons. Under head coach Brian Etzkin, the Vikings are 76-37 all-time in regular season #HLMTEN matches, and have won 14 straight dating back to the 2018-19 campaign.

Trio On CSU Singles Wins List
After combining for a 5-0 weekend against Youngstown State last time out, the trio of Nico Mostardi, Matthew Terry and Luke Phillips all improved their standing on the CSU Singles Wins List. Entering the weekend, Mostardi and Terry are tied for third with 87 career wins, while Phillips ranks ninth with 76 victories. Mostardi and Terry are two of just five Vikings all-time with 85+ singles wins, while Phillips is one of nine Vikings all-time to reach the 75-win milestone.

Bilinovich Closing In On 50 Career Singles Wins
Entering the 13th week of the 2021 campaign junior Clark Bilinovich is closing in on 50 career singles wins, currently standing at 47-22 on his CSU career. Bilinovich, who is currently on a team-best six-match win streak, stands at 8-5 this season and needs just three more wins to become the 17th Viking all-time to reach the milestone.

Vikings With The Doubles Point
So far this season Cleveland State has picked up the doubles point in 14 of its 16 matches, including both contests against YSU last time out. For the year, Nico Mostardi and Luke Phillips own a team-best 8-2 record, while Matthew Terry and Maxime Mareschal-Hay stand at 6-4 this season.
