Miscellaneous Notes
l This was the first basketball meeting between Cleveland State and Urbana.
l The Vikings did not trail in the first half though the game was tied twice (10-10 & 14-14). After the game was tied at 14, CSU ran off eight straight points and eventually led by as many as 10 (30-20, 3:57) before taking a 36-27 lead into halftime.
l Urbana could not mount a charge in the second half as CSU improved to 4-0 for only the third time in school history (1963-64 & 1985-86).
l The teams combined to attempt 78 free throws, including 35 in the first half and 43 in the second stanza. 56 fouls were called in the contest and no player was fouled on a three-point attempt.
