Miscellaneous

• The game was the 40th meeting between the two teams with Detroit now owning a 31-9 series lead.  CSU has won the last three meetings in Cleveland.

• The win allowed CSU to snap a five-game Horizon League losing streak this season and an eight-game streak dating back to late last season.  It was only CSU's second win in its last 11 games.

• CSU played the game without starting point guard Carlos English and reserve forward Kevin Francis, each of whom was declared academically ineligible to compete earlier in the day.

• Senior Patrick Tatham started his 54th straight game, the 10th longest streak in CSU history.

• CSU never trailed in the first half, taking a 33-18 lead into the locker room.  It was the 14th time (in 19 games) that CSU led at halftime with the Vikings owning a (6-7) mark in those contests.

• CSU made 11 three-pointers in the game, the fourth-highest single game total in CSU history and one short of the school-record.

• The Vikings equaled a season-low by committing just nine turnovers in the game.  Detroit turned the ball over just 7 times, the lowest total by a CSU opponent this year.

• CSU had a slight 31-29 rebounding edge, snapping a streak of three straight games being out-rebounded.
