Columbus, OH-The Cleveland State fencing teams are set to compete this weekend in Columbus at the Central Collegiate Fencing Conference Championship. The two-day event is hosted by Ohio State University and will feature a team competition on Saturday and an individual competition on Sunday.

The Vikings will compete alongside six additional teams on the women's side and four additional teams on the men's side. Awards in the team competition will go to the top three teams by winning percentage in a round-robin dual meet format. The first duals get underway at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. 

The individual competition will take place on Sunday with a single-elimination bracket format featuring student-athletes from all participating schools. Awards will be given to the top eight finishers in each bracket.
