BEREA, Ohio - The Cleveland State track & field team opened competition at the Sparky Adams Invitational Friday, with Grace Frye picking up wins in both the Discus and Javelin events.
Frye paced the Discus field with a mark of 42.52, while she posted a mark of 40.06 to win the Javelin.
The duo of Landry Driskel (3rd-40.41) and Olivia Booth (9th-34.70) both recorded top-10 finishes in the Discus event, while Madison Corapi also represented Cleveland State in the Javelin with a mark of 22.51 to finish 14th.
Cleveland State will continue action at the Sparky Adams Invitational tomorrow, with field events beginning at 10:00 a.m. and running events beginning at 11:00 a.m.
