ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Cleveland State track & field team was back in action Saturday, competing at the Golden Grizzlies Invite.

Cleveland State's best track finish came in the 400 Meter Dash, as Madison Morris placed sixth overall with a time of 1:00.31. In addition, Tilly Nasende placed eighth with a time of 1:01.06 in the same event, while Julia Rapp finished eighth in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 25.73.

In field events, the duo of Landry Driskel and Grace Frye combined for five top-three finishes, including a second place showing from Driskel in the Discus (42.59) and a second place finish from Frye in the Javelin (37.97). Karly Klaer also posted a pair of top-five finishes in the Javelin (4th-33.75) and Shot Put (5th-11.83).

Cleveland State posted top-five finishes in both relay events on the day, finishing third in the 4x100 (49.66) and fifth in the 4x400 (4:15.02).

The Vikings will be back in action next weekend, taking part in the Cherry Blossom Invite hosted by Ohio.
