Cleveland State Track & Field Set To Open Outdoor Slate At Emory Spring Break Classic

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field team will be back in action this weekend, opening its 2024 outdoor slate at the Emory Spring Break Classic in Atlanta, Georgia. The two-day meet will take place Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 with events beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Friday and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.

This weekend's Emory Spring Break Classic will be the first of eight scheduled meets for the Vikings this season, culminating with the Horizon League Outdoor Championships May 3-5. 

Cleveland State is coming off an indoor slate that saw the Vikings finish with 17 marks in the CSU Record Book, while also posting 68 top-10 individual finishes throughout the season.
