YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Cleveland State track & field team closed out action at the 2024 Horizon League Indoor Track & Field Championships Sunday, paced by Grace Frye with a podium finish in the Shot Put.
Frye tallied her second podium finish in as many days with a fifth place showing in the Shot Put, posting a mark of 13.31. Frye's mark of 13.31 topped her previous school record that she set earlier this season.
In addition to Frye, Karly Klaer (13th-11.82) and Landry Driskel (14th-11.55) both notched top-15 performances in the Shot Put.
Natalie Keller tallied Cleveland State's top individual finish in track events Sunday, placing 18th in the 3000 Meter Run with a time of 10:32.80.
Cleveland State's 4x400 relay team of Madison Morris, Julia Rapp, Melinda Brown, and Leah Hoover recorded a time of 4:11.39 to finish ninth.
This weekend's #HLTF Indoor Championships marked the ninth and final meet for the Vikings during the indoor slate.
