Cleveland State Track & Field Set For Akron Invite

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field team will open the month of February on Friday, taking part in the Akron Invite. This will mark the sixth meet of the indoor season, and one of three final tune-ups before the 2024 #HLTF Indoor Championships.

Field events are slated to begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, with track events scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. Fans can follow along with LIVE RESULTS

Last time out, the Vikings had a strong showing at the IUPUI Invite, including multiple personal-bests and seven top-10 finishes from Ana Crangle, Grace Frye, Madelynn Madison, Natalie Keller, and Sage Colòn. In addition, Jillian McArdle competed in her first Pentathlon of the season, finishing 13th overall with 2,330 points. 

Looking ahead, the Vikings are preparing for the 2024 Horizon League Indoor Championships, which will take place Saturday, February 24 and Sunday, February 25 in Youngstown, Ohio.
