INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Cleveland State track & field team closed out action at the IUPUI Invite Saturday, paced by a pair of top-10 finishes from Ana Crangle and Grace Frye.

"We had another solid day of competition, led by a PR from Ana in the 3K," head coach Jason Hudson said. "We still have some work to do as we head into the last four weeks of prep for the Horizon League Championships. Each of the meets before will help to build confidence for the championship season!"

Frye posted her top-10 finish in the Shot Put, placing ninth overall with a mark of 12.45. In addition to her top-10 finish in the Shot Put, Frye also notched a third place showing in the Weight Throw on Friday.

Crangle recorded her top finish in the 3000 Meter Run, posting a time of 10:52.87 to finish ninth overall.

The Vikings also recorded an additional pair of top-15 finishes on the day, with Karly Klaer placing 11th in the Shot Put (11.77) and Ivana Babic placing 15th in the High Jump (1.47).

Cleveland State will be back in action at the Akron Invite next Friday, February 2.
