Cleveland State Track & Field Set To Open Indoor Campaign At YSU Icebreaker

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State track and field team will begin its 2023-24 indoor season this weekend, participating in the YSU Icebreaker on Friday, December 1.

Cleveland State will be represented by the trio of Sage Colòn, Ana Crangle and Natalie Keller, with all three set to race in the 5K event.

Friday's meet will mark the first of nine competitions for the Vikings during the indoor campaign, and will be one of just two events before the end of the calendar year. 

The YSU Icebreaker is slated to get underway at 1:00 p.m. and will follow a rolling time schedule.

Cleveland State will be one of 36 teams participating in Friday's meet, including Horizon League opponents Robert Morris and the host Penguins.

Cleveland State's indoor schedule leads up to the 2024 #HLTF Indoor Championships, which will be hosted by Youngstown State on Saturday, February 24 and Sunday, February 25.
