MADISON, Wis. – The Cleveland State cross country team closed out the 2023 campaign Friday, competing at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional. 

Cleveland State was paced by the duo of Madelynn Madison and Ana Crangle, as Madison crossed the finish line in a time of 23:52 and Crangle finished in a time of 23:55. This marked the first time this season that Madison has been the top Viking finisher. 

Natalie Keller (24:04) and Sage Colòn (24:15) were the next two Vikings to finish the 6K race, while Mia Beemsterboer crossed the finish line in a time of 24:23.  

The next Viking to finish was Kiannah Sarver in a time of 24:26, while Brooke Bechtel was the final Cleveland State representative with a 6K time of 24:35.

Friday's race marked the sixth and final meet for the Vikings during the 2023 campaign.
