CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State cross country team will return to action this weekend, participating in the Notre Dame Invite on Friday, September 30.
The Vikings are slated to run in the Gold Division 5K, which is scheduled for a 1:30 p.m. start.
This week's Notre Dame Invite will be the fourth of seven races for the Vikings this season, and one of two final tune-ups before the 2022 Horizon League Championships.
Cleveland State was last in action at the All-Ohio Championships, where they had three runners place in the top-25 among Division I finishers.
So far this season, Hannah Korte has been Cleveland State's top finisher in all three races, including a 14th place finish at the All-Ohio Championships with a 5K time of 19:11 last time out.
Ariana Coats has been the second Viking to finish in every race this season, while the trio of Madeline Crissman, Kiannah Sarver and Ana Crangle represent the third Cleveland State runner to cross the finish line through the first three weeks of the campaign.
