Cleveland State Cross Country Continues Season At Tommy Titan Invite

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State cross country team will return to action this weekend, taking part in the Tommy Titan Invitational hosted by Detroit Mercy. Saturday's 5K race is slated for an 11:05 a.m. start at Cass-Benton Park in Northville, Mich. 

This will mark the second of seven races during the 2022 campaign for the Vikings. 

Last week, Cleveland State opened its 2022 schedule at the Wooster Invite, with senior Hannah Korte pacing the Vikings with a 14th place overall finish in the 4K race. Four Vikings made their debuts at the Wooster Invite; Madeline Crissman, Madeleine Nacci, Ana Crangle, and Melanie Ortiz.

In addition, Ariana Coats and Emily Nemeth also represented Cleveland State at the Wooster Invite. 

2022 RACE-BY-RACE RESULTS

During the 2022 season, Cleveland State will feature eight returners from last year, along with five newcomers, and will be led by Jason Hudson who is in his fifth season at the helm of the Vikings.
