CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State cross country team will begin the 2018 season at the Duquesne Duals on Saturday, September 1. The women's 5K will take place at Schenley Park at 9 a.m.

2018 Cleveland State Cross Country Roster
The Cleveland State cross country team is under the direction of new head coach, Jason Hudson. Hudson has over 20 years of coaching experience prior to coming to Cleveland State. The roster includes nine returning student-athletes including Anna Brandt who was named the Horizon League Freshman of the year last season. This group will be joined by seven incoming freshmen.

Cleveland State All-Time Top Performers
Four current Vikings hold spots on the top-50 5K and 6K performance list including, Anna Brandt and Jessica Finley who appear on both the top-50 lists. Brandt's top time for the 5K is 18:25 and 22:20 for the 6K. Finley's top time for the 5K is 18:36 and 22:21 for the 6K. Both Olivia Hammons and Deanna Swinerton also appear on the top-50 6K list.

2018 Cleveland State Cross Country Schedule
The Duquesne Duals will be the first of six races for Cleveland State this season. The Vikings next meet is the Tommy Evans Invitational, which will take place on Saturday, September 8 at 4:30 p.m. in Norton, Ohio.
