BEREA, Ohio – The Cleveland State cross country team had a successful day at the Sparky Adams Invitational Saturday, as the Vikings recorded four top-5 finishes and four other top-10 finishes.

Cleveland State's top placer was Ashlyn Woods in the 1500 Meter Run, as she finished third overall with a time of 5:05.40. Megan O'Keefe and Alanna Shamrock each posted fourth place finishes – O'Keefe in the 800 Meter Run (2:26.34) and Shamrock in the 1500 (5:15.00). The Vikings' final top-5 finish came from Samantha Butterbaugh in the 5000 Meter Run, as she placed fifth in a time of 19:35.78.

The other top-10 finishes came from Shamrock and Kristin McCarthy in the 800 Meter Run, and Katie Webb and Sierra Swigert in the 5000 Meter Run. For a complete list of Cleveland State results from the Sparky Adams Invitational, see below:
