CLEVELAND, Ohio – After a week off from competition, the Cleveland State cross country team will return to action this Friday (October 3), participating in the All-Ohio Championship. This will mark CSU's first 6K race of the season, with both the Championship and Open Race slated for a 2:00 p.m. start at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course on the Cedarville University campus.

Please check the MEET SITE for any weather updates that may occur due to weather in the surrounding areas.

6K COURSE | ALL-OHIO INFORMATION

Out of the nine veterans, Katie Webb is the lone Viking to have recorded her career-best 6K time at the All-Ohio Championship last season, while she is also one of six current Vikings to own a top-50 6K time on Cleveland State's top-performances list.

TOP PERFORMANCES LIST

Through the first four races of the season, a combination of the same four runners has represented the top-three Viking finishers, while Woods has been CSU's top finisher twice. Cleveland State has had at least one top-15 finisher in two of the races, including the Friendship Invitational when two Vikings finished in the top-10.

On the year, the Vikings have notched 13 sub 20-minute 5K times, including a sub 19-minute 5K from Woods at the BGSU Invitational (18:58). Five of those times came at the Friendship Invitational last time out - marking the first time under head coach Joe Jaketic that five runners have broken 20-minutes in the same race.

2014 RACE-BY-RACE RESULTS

As a team, Cleveland State has three fourth place finishes (Dayton Flyer 5K, Detroit Titan Invitational, BGSU Invitational) and a second place finish (Friendship Invitational) so far this season.
