CLEVELAND, Ohio – Once again the Cleveland State cross country team will compete in a select number of track meets this spring, beginning with the Sparky Adams Invitational this Saturday (April 19). The Sparky Adams Invitational is hosted by Baldwin Wallace and will take place at George Finnie Stadium on the BW campus. Running events are slated to start at 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
Saturday's meet will be the first of three track meets for the Vikings, as they will also compete in the Ashland University Alumni Open (Saturday, April 26) and the Horizon League Championship (May 2-4) in the coming weeks.
Cleveland State will be represented by four athletes at the Sparky Adams Invitational – Megan O'Keefe, Erin Pavick, Ashlyn Woods, and Katie Webb.
The Vikings will have a participant in six different events throughout the meet with a complete list of athletes and their events listed below:
Megan O'Keefe: 200 meter dash/800 meter run
Erin Pavick: 800 meter run/3000 meter run
Ashlyn Woods: 1500 meter run/high jump
Katie Webb: 5000 meter run
