All-Ohio Championship Up Next For Cross Country

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State cross country team will continue the 2013 season this weekend, competing at the All-Ohio Championship on Friday, October 4. The women's collegiate 6K race is set for a 2:45 p.m. start at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course. Friday's race will mark the second 6K of the season for the Vikings.

Weather permitting, the women's collegiate race will be streamed live via Yellow Jackets Video. There will be coverage of the start, 2-mile and finish line. A link for the video stream is available on the cross country schedule page on CSUVikings.com, or by clicking the 'video stream' link above.

Last time out the Vikings ran their first 6K of the season, placing third at the Friendship Invitational. Tori Holt (23:27), Amanda Kalain (27:24) and Ashley Lydic (25:37) all posted career-best 6K times at the Friendship Invitational, while Holt's 6K time also landed her fifth all-time on the CSU top performances list.

Joining Holt on the 6K top performances list was the freshmen duo of Erin Pavick and Ashlyn Woods, who posted top-25 finishes at the Friendship Invitational. Pavick's time of 23:54 ties her for ninth on the top performance list, while Woods is tied for 22nd with a time of 24:27.
