WESTSERVILLE, Ohio- The Cleveland State cross country team continued the 2012 season Saturday morning, placing fourth out of 12 teams at the Otterbein Invitational. The Vikings were led by four top-40 finishers, including Tori Holt who finished eighth.

"Everyone ran extremely well again today, we finished fourth as a team which was awesome," head coach Joe Jaketic said. "The course was very muddy today with puddles of water all over, but they all enjoyed running in the mud and really made the most of it. Tori, Katie, Maddie and Amanda all had great races today and really pushed their teammates on the course. We are all really looking forward to next weekend because we will be back at the Cedarville course for the All-Ohio meet and hopefully we will have great results like the last time we ran at that course."

Holt posted her third straight sub 20-minute 5K Saturday, finishing eighth in a time of 19:23. Katie Webb was the second Viking to finish, placing 14th in a career-best time of 19:53. Webb's time at the Otterbein Invite marked the first sub 20-minute 5K time of her collegiate career.
