Jenni Ramminger has developed into one of the top middle hitters in the league during her three seasons in the green and white. One of the most accurate finishers and top blockers in the league, Ramminger uses her quickness and instincts at the net to terminate points and block lanes for opposing hitters. As one of just two seniors on the roster this season, Ramminger will be viewed as a leader for the younger players and to help take a strong leadership role on the floor.

2007 Season (Junior)

Finished third on the team in kills (301), blocks (107), and hitting percentage (.286).

Two-time league player of the week, earning defensive player of the week honors (8/27) and offensive player of the week honors on Oct. 1.

Ranked fourth in league in hitting percentage (.286) and fourth in service aces (0.34).

Named to Horizon League All-Tournament team after totaling 31 kills, 15 blocks, eight digs and three aces and hitting .448 (31-5-59) in three wins.

Opened season with back-to-back 11 kill matches against Bradley and IUPUI (8/24).

Recorded 19 kills and four blocks in five-set loss to Kent State (8/28).

Had 14 kills and hit .423 in win over Murray State (9/8).

Tallied 22 kills and seven blocks against UMKC (9/8).

Registered career-high 23 kills on a career-best 48 swings versus Green Bay (9/28).

Missed three games after injuring ankle during final seconds of warmup prior to Loyola match (10/6).

Finished with 10 kills, season-high four aces and four blocks against Youngstown State (11/10).

Posted double-digit kills in 16 matches, including four of the final five matches.

2006 Season (Sophomore)

Finished second on the team in blocks (102), third in hitting percentage (.254) and fifth in kills (179).

Pounded out a career-high 13 kills and hit .550 (13-2-20) at Butler (10/6/06).

Hit season-high .611 (12-1-18) at Toledo (9/15).

Notched a career-high 10 digs in Horizon League semifinal against UIC (11/18).

Recorded double-digit kills in six matches.

Had at least five blocks in 11 matches.

2005 Season (Freshman)

Named Horizon League Co-Newcomer of the Year and also earned a spot on the league all-newcomer squad.

Ranked fourth in the league in both hitting percentage (.282) and blocks (1.14).

Upped those numbers to .284 and 1.26 in league play.

Registered a career-high 12 kills and five blocks in league semifinal match versus Wright State (11/19).

Posted career-best .688 hitting percentage (11-0-16) at Kent State (11/7).

Had a career-high 10 blocks against Wright State (10/21).

Notched 11 kills and 10 blocks at Butler (9/23).

High School

Two-time league player of the year, as well as a three-time all-district and all-league selection.

Led squad to three league titles and a berth in the 2003 regional semifinals.

Two-time team MVP.

Compiled 776 kills, 268 blocks and 152 aces in her career.

Daughter of Brenda and Greg Ramminger.
