When it comes to discussing the top players in the Horizon League, Beth Greulich is no doubt part of the conversation. A two-time first team All-Horizon League selection, Greulich can finish at the net with both power and accuracy, ranking fourth on the CSU career list for hitting percentage. One of the most versatile players in the league, Greulich is able to play any position in the front row and can control a match offensively and defensively.

2008 SEASON (JUNIOR)

•Named to Horizon League All-Tournament team after totaling 35 kills and 11 blocks, while hitting .380 in three matches.

•Played in all 30 matches with 28 starts, leading the team with 295 kills, while ranking seventh in the league with a .277 hitting percentage.

•Had double-digit kills in 18 matches, including six consecutive to end the season.

•Finished with 12 kills and season-best six digs in season finale win at Kent State.

•Posted 12 kills in league championship match vs. Milwaukee (11/23) after recording 13 kills and six blocks in semifinal win over Valparaiso (11/22).

•Hit .458 with 13 kills and five blocks in win at Green Bay (11/8).

•Named Horizon League Player of the Week after tallying 26 kills and seven blocks in matches against Green Bay (10/11) and Milwaukee (10/12).

•Set a season-high with 17 kills, hitting .353, at Valparaiso (10/3).

•Notched first career double-double with 11 kills and career-high 10 blocks at Wright State (9/26).

•Opened season with double-digit kill efforts of 10 vs. Connecticut (8/29) and 11 against Northern Illinois (8/30).

2007 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)

•Earned first team All-Horizon League accolades after finishing third in the conference with a .302 hitting percentage.

•Led team with 382 kills, including 21 matches with double-digits, ranking second with 109 blocks.

•Posted 19 kills and hit .432 (19-3-37) at Southern Illinois (9/7).

•Notched 20 kills and hit .395 (20-5-38) against UIC (10/5).

•Posted 12 kills and nine blocks at Wright State (9/14).

•Tallied career-high 21 kills and hit .514 (21-2-37) at Green Bay (10/20).

•Recorded a 19-kill effort at Loyola (10/26).

•Had 17 kills and three blocks in league championship match against Valparaiso (11/18).

•Posted 10 kills and two blocks in NCAA Championship first round match against Albany (11/30).

•Two-time Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week honoree (10/22 & 10/29).

2006 SEASON (FRESHMAN)

•Horizon League Co-Newcomer of the Year.

•Named to Horizon All-League first team and All-Newcomer squad.

•Led league in hitting percentage (.364; 276-59-596), the third best in a single season at CSU.

•Finished fourth on team in kills (276) and kills per game (2.76) and third in blocks (87).

•Recorded 12 matches with double-digit kills, including in six of final seven contests.

•Named to Oakland Invitational All-Tournament team (9/8-9/9).

•Chosen Horizon League Player of the Week on Nov. 6 after averaging 17.0 kills and 5.5 blocks and hitting .444 (37-6-63) in matches against Wright State and Butler.

•Posted career-best .647 hitting percentage (12-1- 17) against Loyola (9/29).

•Hit a combined .571 (25-1-42) in three wins at the UNC Asheville Volleyball Classic (9/2).

HIGH SCHOOL

•Two-time first team all-league pick, she earned the league Scholar Athlete Award her senior year.

•Named team MVP as both a junior and senior, playing for coach Andy Luciano.

•Played club volleyball for Dayton Juniors, leading team to fifth-place finish at 2004 nationals.

PERSONAL

•Born Feb. 20, 1988 in Troy, Ohio.

•Daughter of Linda and Eric Greulich.

•Has one sister, Ellen.

•Earned CSU's Athletic Academic Excellence Award in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
