After using the last two seasons to grasp the Viking offense behind two-time first team all-league selection Mel Snyder, Natalie Bauer began to develop a rapport with the Viking hitters during the spring season. An athletic distributor of the ball, Bauer is intelligent and will be counted on to make the correct reads and spread the ball around to the talented group of hitters that will surround her this season.

2007 Season (Sophomore)

Appeared in 63 sets, primarily as the backup setter.

Amassed 109 assists, 36 digs, seven aces and six kills.

Set career-highs for assists (17)and digs (7) versus Wright State (10/17).

Previous career-high was 15 assists at Butler (9/15).

Dished out 13 assists along with five digs against Xavier (8/25).

2006 Season (freshman)

Saw action in 24 games as the backup setter, dishing out 13 assists to go along with one service ace and five digs.

Handed four assists against UIC (9/30).

Had a three assist match against Youngstown State (11/10).

High School

Helped Chaminade-Julienne with 315 assists, 92 kills and 122 digs.

Named all-district her senior year for coach Howard Garcia.

Earned the defensive player of the year award her junior year.

Three-time recipient of the Scholar Athlete Award.

Earned the Rae Burick Women in Sports Award senior year.

Participated in the 2006 All-Star game.

Lettered three times in volleyball and two times in cheerleading.

Personal

Born Oct. 29, 1987 in Dayton, Ohio.

Daughter of Becky and Bo Bauer.

Has one sister, Stephanie, who is a member of the crew team at the University of Notre Dame.

Member of the National Honor Society.

Volunteered for the Big Brother-Big Sisters program.

Earned CSU's Athletic Academic Excellence Award in 2007.
