Cleveland State Volleyball Falls In #HLVB Semifinals

FAIRBORN, Ohio - The Cleveland State volleyball team closed out the 2023 season Saturday, falling in the semifinals of the Horizon League Tournament. The Vikings finish the year with a 17-14 overall record and earned their second straight trip to the #HLVB Semifinals.

Laken Voss and Liberty Torres both finished with six kills on the match, while JeriLynn Koehler added five.

Emma Walker finished with 11 digs to lead the Viking defense, while Voss chipped in 10 digs, and Karly Klaer added nine.

Klaer also combined for 16 assists on the day.

With her 11 digs on the day, Walker finished the season with 595 total digs, ranking second on the CSU Single Season Records List. As a team, the Vikings finished the year with 2,046 digs becoming just the sixth team all time to eclipse the 2,000-dig mark.

Cleveland State also finished ranked in the top-10 on the CSU Single Season Record List in solo blocks (5th - 82) and total blocks (9th - 275).
