Walker Notches 1,000th Dig As Vikings Fall To Northern Kentucky

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland State volleyball team closed out the weekend on Saturday, dropping a 3-0 match against Northern Kentucky.

With eight digs against Northern Kentucky on Saturday, junior Emma Walker eclipsed the 1,000-dig mark for her career, ending the match with 1,002.

In addition to Walker, Karly Klaer led the Viking defense with 11 digs, along with 20 assists for another double-double on the season.

Liberty Torres had 11 kills on the match, while Laken Voss added eight kills.

As a team, the Vikings recorded five service aces against Northern Kentucky, including two from Madison Olinger.

The Vikings will host Oakland next Friday in its regular season finale and Senior Night, with first serve set for 6:00 p.m.
