CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland State volleyball team dropped just its second Horizon League match of the season Friday, falling at Northern Kentucky 3-1.
Cleveland State now stands at 9-7 overall and 3-2 in #HLVB play.
Liberty Torres finished with 16 kills to lead the Viking offense, marking her fourth straight double-digit kill performance, while Laken Voss added nine kills.
Karly Klaer notched her 11th double-double of the season with 33 assists and 10 digs against NKU.
The Viking defense was led by Emma Walker with 26 digs, marking her ninth 20-dig effort of the season.
Cleveland State combined for six service aces on the night, including two from Klaer and Reilly Wadden.
Redshirt-freshman Abbi Martin made her collegiate debut on Friday.
The Vikings will close out the weekend tomorrow, traveling to Wright State for a 4:00 p.m. contest.
