McConihe Notches 1,000th Career Dig As Vikings Fall To Wright State

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State volleyball team opened its 2022 #HLVB home slate Friday evening, dropping a three-set match to Wright State.

With six digs on the match, senior Audrey McConihe eclipsed 1,000 digs for her career, finishing the match with 1,004 total digs. McConihe, who leads the Vikings averaging 4.05 digs per set on the season, has notched 20+ digs in five matches this year.

Laken Voss led the Viking offense with nine kills, while Karly Klaer added seven.

Klaer also posted a team-high 14 digs, while Emma Walker and Laken Voss both tallied 11.

Along with her 14 digs, Klaer also notched 24 assists for her sixth double-double of the season, including the third straight.

The trio of Lydia Latimer, Madison Olinger and Klaer all notched three total blocks.
