Cleveland State Volleyball Drops Match Against NKU

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State volleyball team opened the final weekend of regular season play Friday evening, dropping a 3-0 contest to Northern Kentucky.

The Vikings will now host Wright State in Saturday's regular season finale, which will also mark Senior Day for the duo of Erica Kostelac and Lindsey Tout.

Erica Kostelac led the Viking offense with 13 kills on the match, while London Portis added seven and Keanna Avery tallied six.

Abby Miller finished with 30 assists on Cleveland State's 38 kills against the Norse, while she also tallied 10 digs for her eighth double-double of the year.

Emma Walker served as Cleveland State's libero on the match, notching a team-high 13 digs.

Lindsey Tout made her first appearance of the 2021 campaign after sitting out due to injury, recording one dig on the night.

Lydia Latimer posted three total blocks on the match, while Miller added two.

Tomorrow's Senior Day match against Wright State is slated for a 4:00 p.m. start inside Woodling Gymnasium.
