Cleveland State Volleyball Falls At Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Cleveland State volleyball team opened its final roadswing of the 2021 regular season Thursday evening, dropping a 3-0 match at league-leading Milwaukee.

Playing in her first complete match of the season, freshman setter Georgi Moody posted 18 assists, four kills and two digs against the Panthers.

Lydia Latimer combined for five kills on the match on a .444 hitting percentage (5-1-9), while London Portis and Erica Kostelac both added four kills.

Emma Walker tallied a team-high eight digs – playing a portion of the match as the libero – while Audrey McConihe and Sarah DeGeorge both posted seven digs.

Thursday's match marked the 18th road contest of the season for the Vikings, with Cleveland State slated to play 20 total road matches – the most in a regular season since 2009.

The Vikings will continue their current roadswing at Green Bay tomorrow (Friday, November 5), with first serve set for 7:00 p.m. EST.
