Cleveland State Volleyball Comes Up Short At Northern Kentucky

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Cleveland State volleyball team closed out their current three-match roadswing Saturday afternoon, dropping a 3-0 match at Northern Kentucky.

Offensively, the Vikings were led by Peyton Bloomer who finished with 10 kills, marking her 11th double-digit kill match of the season and seventh during Horizon League play.

Abby Miller posted 20 assists on the match along with four kills, while Erica Kostelac also tallied four kills against Northern Kentucky.

Audrey McConihe once again led the Viking defense, posting 11 digs against the Norse, while Emma Walker recorded six on the match.

Lydia Latimer posted a team-best three blocks, while Bloomer finished with two blocks on the match.

Up next for the Vikings will be a pair of matches at Woodling Gymnasium, as Cleveland State will host Youngstown State on Saturday, October 23 and Robert Morris on Sunday, October 24.
