Cleveland State Volleyball Falls To League-Leading Milwaukee

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State volleyball team continued its current five-match homestand Friday evening, dropping a 3-0 decision against league-leading Milwaukee.

Cleveland State now stands at 6-11 overall and 4-2 in Horizon League play, and will take on UIC on Sunday (October 10) to close out the current homestand.

London Portis posted seven total kills for the Viking offense, while Peyton Bloomer tallied six kills and Madalynn Butler recorded five.

Defensively, Audrey McConihe and Sarah DeGeorge both posted nine digs, while Emma Walker recorded six.

Abby Miller finished with 20 assists on the match, and now has 996 helpers on her career, just four assists shy of the 1,000-assist mark.
