Cleveland State Volleyball Tabbed Sixth In #HLVB Preseason Poll

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League released its 2021 Volleyball Preseason Poll Wednesday afternoon, with Cleveland State tabbed to finish sixth in the competitive 11-team league.

The Vikings return 12 letterwinners from last year's team, including All-Freshman Team honoree Abby Miller. The 12 returners will be joined by 10 newcomers for the 2021 campaign, including a pair of transfers in Erica Kostelac and Sarah DeGeorge

2021 CLEVELAND STATE VOLLEYBALL ROSTER

Cleveland State will be under the direction of head coach Chuck Voss, who returns for his 22nd season with the Vikings. Voss has tallied 371 career wins at Cleveland State as the all-time winningest coach, including a 9-7 record during the adjusted 2021 spring campaign last year.

2021 CLEVELAND STATE VOLLEYBALL SCHEDULE 

The Vikings will begin the 2021 season at the Baltimore Invitational this weekend, facing Morgan State (August 27), Navy (August 27) and Towson (August 28). This weekend's matches mark the beginning of a 12-match non-league slate for Cleveland State, while Cleveland State will open its 18-match Horizon League lineup on September 24.
