Greene Picks Up #HLVB Weekly Honors

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After leading Cleveland State to a series sweep over Robert Morris earlier this week, senior Hannah Greene has been named one of the Horizon League Players of the Week. This marks the second weekly honor for Greene this season.

Against the Colonials, Greene combined for 23 kills on a .360 hitting percentage, leading the Cleveland State offense in a pair of 3-0 sweeps over Robert Morris. Greene opened the week with 11 kills in the first match and followed that up with 12 kills on a .407 clip in the series finale. 

On the season, Greene has notched nine double-digit kill performances, including all six matches in Woodling Gymnasium. 

Greene also combined for 10 total blocks on the week – four in the first match and six in the series finale – and now has 48 total blocks this season to lead the Vikings. 

With her 10 total blocks against the Colonials, Greene moved into eighth place in the CSU Career Record Book with 373 career blocks.  

Entering the seventh week of #HLVB play, Greene ranks among the top-10 league players in four categories; Blocks (3rd – 1.14), Points (4th – 4.02), Kills (6th – 3.24), and Hitting Percentage (8th - .301).
