Volleyball Falls At Green Bay

GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Cleveland State volleyball team started the second half of Horizon League play Friday, dropping a 3-0 contest at Green Bay.

Hannah Greene and Trinniti Hall led the Cleveland State offense against the Phoenix, both posting nine kills. Greene's nine kills came on a .533 hitting percentage (9-1-15), marking a match-high.

Christina Grecol finished with 32 assists on the match, finishing with 1,842 career assists, just 100 helpers shy of moving into eighth place in the CSU Career Record Book.

Emily DeGeorge and Lindsey Tout both recorded double-digit digs on the night, DeGeorge finishing with 12 and Tout posting 10.

As a team, the Vikings recorded 10.0 total blocks, their third straight match with 10+ blocks as a team. Chelsea Penfield recorded a team-high seven blocks, while Greene and London Portis both posted three blocks.
