Hall Named #HLVB Offensive Player Of The Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the second time this season, Cleveland State volleyball junior Trinniti Hall has been honored by the Horizon League, as she was named the #HLVB Offensive Player of the Week. This marks the fourth weekly honor for the Vikings this season.

Last weekend, the Vikings picked up a 3-0 sweep at Youngstown State and a 3-2 victory over Oakland, improving to 14-8 overall this season and 8-2 in league action.

Through the two matches last weekend, Hall averaged 4.25 kills on a .544 hitting percentage, recording 34 total kills. Hall posted 10 kills against the Penguins on a career-high .909 hitting percentage (10-0-11), and then followed that up with a career-high 24 kills against Oakland.

The 24-kill performance against Oakland marked her first 20-kill match of the season and just the second of her career.

For the season, Hall has posted a team-high 244 total kills on a team-best .286 hitting percentage.

Among Horizon League players, Hall ranks second with her .286 clip, while she ranks seventh averaging 2.90 kills per set.

Hall and the Vikings will have a crucial homestand this weekend, hosting UIC on Friday, October 26 and Green Bay on Saturday, October 27.
