Vikings Drop First #HLVB Match In 3-2 Decision At Green Bay

GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Cleveland State volleyball team dropped its first Horizon League match of the season Friday, falling in a five-set decision at Green Bay. With the loss, the Vikings fall to 12-7 overall this year and 6-1 in league play.

Rachel Stover finished with a team-high 14 kills against the Phoenix, while Sara Skeens added 10 and Trinniti Hall notched eight.

Four Vikings finished the match with double-digit digs, including Rachael Dohar who finished with 24 for her ninth 20-dig performance this season. MacKenzie Conner added 16 digs for Cleveland State, while Christina Grecol added 13 and Emily DeGeorge notched 10.

Grecol also finished with 32 assists on the match, recording her fourth double-double of the year.

As a team, the Vikings finished with 15.0 total blocks, marking their fourth match with 15 or more blocks as a team this year. Individually, Hall and Hannah Greene recorded seven blocks, while Stover chipped in six.
