THE MATCH-UP // WRIGHT STATE
Friday's contest will be the 60th meeting between CSU and Wright State, with the Raiders owning a 32-27 edge in the overall series. Despite the overall series record, the Vikings have won 10 straight heading into Friday's match, with seven of those victories coming as 3-0 sweeps.

THE MATCH-UP // OAKLAND
Saturday's match at Oakland will be just the ninth contest between the two teams - and the first counting towards Horizon League play. The Vikings own a 7-1 record against the Grizzlies, with their only loss coming last year at the CSU Invitational.

…OAKLAND JOINS THE HORIZON LEAGUE FOR 2013-14
The Horizon League will have a new look this season, as Oakland University has joined the league for the 2013-14 academic year. The Golden Grizzlies come to the league after playing in the Summit League for six seasons and the Mid-Continent Conference for nine years. In volleyball, the Vikings own a 7-1 record against Oakland.

HORIZON LEAGUE HONORS
Throughout the 2013 season the Vikings have picked up three weekly awards from the Horizon League - a pair of Offensive Players of the Week (Grace Kauth and Maggie Hannon) and a Defensive Player of the Week (Nikki Holmes). CSU's three weekly honors is a league-high so far this year, while the Vikings are the only team to sweep both offensive and defensive honors in the same week (Kauth & Holmes - Sept. 9).

ROBERTS & DJUKIC REACH 1,000 ASSIST MARK
The setting duo of Dayna Roberts and Annie Djukic became the 10th and 11th Vikings to reach the 1,000 assist mark earlier this season - Roberts entering the week with 1,055 career assists and Djukic entering the week with 1,044 helpers. Roberts currently ranks 10th all-time on the CSU career records chart, while Djukic ranks 11th.

THREE VIKINGS RANKED IN NATIONAL STATISTICS
Maggie Hannon, Kelly Kiger and Nikki Holmes represented CSU in this week's national statistics release - Kiger ranking 60th in blocks per set (1.23), Holmes ranking 66th in digs per set (4.61) and Hannon ranking 74th in hitting percentage (.363).

VIKINGS IN THE LEAGUE STATISTICS
After the first weekend of league play, Cleveland State leads the league in four stat categories (hitting percentage, kills, assists & service aces), while a Viking also ranks in the top-two in five individual categories. Maggie Hannon continues to lead the league with a .363 hitting percentage (126-33-256) and leads the league averaging 3.41 kills per set, while Nikki Holmes (digs per set), Annie Djukic (service aces per set) and Kelly Kiger (blocks per set) each rank second in their respective categories.
