CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field team will be back in action this weekend, taking part in the Sparky Adams Invitational hosted by Baldwin Wallace on Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22. 

This weekend's meet marks the sixth of the outdoor campaign, and one of two final tune-ups before the Horizon League Outdoor Championships in early May. 

The Vikings' lone event on Friday will be the Javelin, while the remainder of the field and running events will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Last time out, the Vikings recorded eight top-10 individual performances, including an event win from Dynesty Ervin in the 400 Meter Dash at the Cherry Blossom Invite. 

Following this weekend's Sparky Adams Invitational, Cleveland State will take part in the Mountaineer Invite on Saturday, April 29 and will then close out the season at the #HLTF Outdoor Championships Friday, May 5 – Sunday, May 7.
