Track & Field To Compete At Cherry Blossom Invite

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State track & field will be back in action this weekend, taking part in the Cherry Blossom Invite hosted by Ohio University on Saturday, April 15. 

Saturday's meet will begin with field events at 10:00 a.m., followed by running events slated to start at 11:00 a.m.

Saturday's meet marks the fifth event of the outdoor season for the Vikings, and one of three final tune-ups before the Horizon League Outdoor Championship in early May. 

Last time out, Cleveland State had a strong showing at the Golden Grizzlies Invite, paced by Ana Crangle who finished ninth in the 3000 Meter Steeplechase with a time of 12:00.88. The Vikings also tallied a top-10 finish in the 4x100 Meter Relay, with the quartet of Jadah Payne, Jillian McArdle, Leah Hoover, and Dynesty Ervin crossing the finish line in a time of 50.85.
